Are these sketches actually done by Glen Keane?I am looking for a book that my dad had many years ago.The sketches on this blog page are of similar style to the book I am referring to. Especially the sketch of monkeys in trees and the last 3 sketches on the page are SO much like the book I remember. The subjects were nudes, dark subject matter, i.e. cadavers and monster-like humans. Confident, beautiful renderings. Can someone give me some input?
this blog is amazing, but was it approved by Glen Keane himself? otherwise, it would be a copyright violation, i think...
@Bridgett It isn't copyright violation because none of these are copyrighted, and if they were, the blog is not using them for profit or claiming ownership. -perfectly legal.
@acofam I really doubt these are your fathers. Line art is similar and if it was done in charcoal or pencil it is common to mistake one for the other... unless in this instance. Because these are glen Keane's. and He is unmistakeable.
Hello Glen,I am an animation student at Columbus College of Art and Design! I am a huge fan of yours! My all time favorite movie is Tarzan and your work in it is amazing and inspired me to one day become an animator for Disney! I am going to be in Los Angeles, CA during the month of December and I am looking for a few animators to reach out to and connect with to talk about what it is like working in the industry. If you can reach me at email@example.com, I would appreciate it very much! I am not asking for a tour of a studio or anything fancy either. A simple coffee chat would be just as exciting!Thank youAbigail Walouke
